Summer Basketball Camps in Regina
Five days that change how they play. Thirty hours of basketball, competition and being part of a real team. Ages 7 to 17, all levels, in our own facility. Long enough to actually change something.

What a week of camp changes
A week is long enough to move a player and short enough that any family can do it. Here is what the week actually does.
The daily camp schedule
The day keeps athletes active, engaged and learning from the moment camp starts until the final whistle. Athletes bring their own snack and lunch.
What players will experience
Every day is built to develop their skills, grow their confidence, and give them a full week of competition and team play.
Skill development training
The whole morning is shooting, ball handling, finishing and scoring, in small groups with a coach correcting habits in the moment.
Leadership and character sessions
Every day includes a leadership and character block. It is the part parents tell us about in September.
Conditioning and mobility
Structured basketball conditioning: endurance, footwork and the movement that keeps them on the floor.
Daily team tournaments
Players plan with their coach and then play real games every afternoon, with strategy that actually gets used.
Coached from a written playbook, not off the cuff
A camp day here is not recess with basketballs. Every day is coached from HoopLife's written coaching library: practice plans built around four training themes, every drill diagrammed, and every coach trained on the same playbook and the same basketball vocabulary.
Off-ball movement
Your kid has the ball for a fraction of the game. We coach the rest of it: cutting, spacing, and getting open, so they matter on every possession.
Defence & communication
Positioning, help defence, closeouts, and talking on the floor. The loudest team usually wins, and we teach kids exactly what to say.
Creating advantages
Screens, handoffs and reads: how to beat a defender with your brain, not just your speed. This is the part most programs never teach.
Shooting form & shot selection
Clean mechanics and footwork, plus the judgment to know a good shot from a bad one. Both halves matter, so we coach both.
Character, confidence and leadership are why families stay. This is the other promise: the basketball itself is expert-level, and it is written down.
They compete all week, and they love it
Our mini-games challenge your athlete in a fun, high-pressure environment, and every winner takes a prize home. Competition is what turns a week of camp into a week they talk about.
Mini-games and competitions
Contests and skill competitions run all week in a fun, high-pressure environment, and every winner takes a prize home.
Daily team tournament
Players work with their coach on strategy, a game plan and playing together, then take it straight into real games.
Daily awards and prizes
Every day closes with awards and prizes for effort, improvement and performance, not just for the best player in the gym.
Keep them in the gym
Camp is a great week. What makes it last is the rest of the year. Our weekly sessions run every week including all summer, so they can be back in the gym the week after camp. Nothing to try out for and no season to wait for.
Questions, answered
What are the days and times?
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, at the HoopLife Facility, 661 Solomon Cres. Five full days, thirty hours of basketball.
How much is it, and how many kids are in a camp?
$350 for the week, and a camp is capped at 32 kids so every player gets real coaching. They sell out.
What ages is it for?
Ages 7 to 17, grouped by age so a seven-year-old is never thrown in with a sixteen-year-old. All levels, including kids who have never played.
What should they bring?
A labelled basketball, a labelled water bottle, indoor non-marking court shoes, athletic clothing, and a packed lunch and snack. The concession is open through the day if you want to send spending money.
My kid has never played. Will they be lost?
No. Groups are set by age and ability, the coaches are on the floor the whole time, and the week is built so a first-timer and a club player both get a camp that fits them.
What if the cost is a stretch for us right now?
We never want the camp fee to be the reason a child misses out. There is funding support through BOOST Kids, and we will do what we can to help. Just ask.
Is this real coaching, or supervised drills?
Real coaching. HoopLife runs on a written coaching library: practice plans organized around four training themes (off-ball movement, defence and communication, creating advantages, and shooting), with every drill diagrammed and every coach trained on the same playbook and the same basketball vocabulary. Nothing about the hour is improvised.
What happens after camp?
The players who keep the jump are the ones training between camps. Our weekly sessions run every week of the year including all summer — see the weekly schedule.
