What is under this roof

We built the Centre so a kid in Regina never has to train in a borrowed gym with the hoops at the wrong height and nowhere for their family to sit.

The court

A full-size regulation hardwood floor, the first of its kind in Saskatchewan. Six adjustable hoops, so a seven-year-old learns real shooting form on a rim they can actually reach and a high-school player trains at full height on the same floor.

Scoreboard and shot clocks

Premium scoreboard and shot clocks on both ends, which is why league nights here feel like a real game night instead of a rec booking.

The training room

A turf room off the court for footwork, agility, warm-ups and movement work, and the space teams use before they play.

The lounge

Leather couches, two big screens usually showing NBA or NCAA basketball, vending machines and a concession. Parents wait here instead of standing at the edge of the floor.

Check-in and the viewing window

One entrance, one check-in, and a window onto the court, so you can see your kid from the lobby the whole time.

One address, everything

Sessions, leagues, camps, Young Stars and open gym all run in this building at 661 Solomon Cres. No hunting for a school gym that changes every week.

The floor, the room, the lounge

Built for basketball, and for the people watching it

A floor that plays like a game floor

Hardwood, regulation size, proper markings, six hoops that come down for the little ones and go back up for the high-school players. The same surface for a Tuesday session and a league final.

A room for the work around the game

The turf training room handles warm-ups, footwork and agility, so the court stays free for basketball.

Somewhere to actually wait

Couches, two screens, vending machines and a view of the court. Bring the younger sibling and the hour goes fine.

The building, and the building in use

A court is just a court until it is full. This is what a normal week looks like at 661 Solomon Cres.

Teams, schools and groups can book the gym

The court, the training room and the lobby are all available to rent for practices, tryouts, tournaments and events. Tell us the day, the time and how many people, and we will come back with availability and a price.

The coaches are outstanding. They are knowledgeable, patient, and truly care about each child's development. They take the time to break down skills, encourage effort, and build confidence in every player... The training sessions are well organized and very effective... You can really see the improvement in skills, teamwork, and overall understanding of the game after just a few sessions... We are extremely happy with our experience and would highly recommend HoopLife Basketball Training to any family looking for a high-quality program where kids can learn, grow, and truly enjoy the game.

We signed up our 8-year-old son for the 3-month membership and have really enjoyed our experience. Logistically, I like that all the sessions are laid out in advance, so you can choose what works best for your schedule. It was a great experience for our son to have different coaches and play with different kids regularly. He really enjoyed the coaches! They were friendly, knowledgeable and really helped him to improve his skills. The facility itself is fantastic, and we're glad we gave this a shot!

Zane from Hooplife is such an amazing Coach. Our son, Keith, not just loves the sport, but he also loves the coaches. We feel very welcome and “at home”, there. They're very friendly to everyone. Also, the skills that they're teaching our son are very helpful for his development. Our son hopes to get accepted in a basketball club while training with HoopLife.
